"Our story began nearly 50 years ago as a small retail store, where we spent the first two decades deeply focused on understanding our customers. What they loved, how they shopped, and what made them come back. Those early years were so important, teaching us how to serve our audience with authenticity, creativity, and value.
Armed with that knowledge, we launched a wholesale division, initially supplying our own store, which quickly became the biggest and most active customer of our new venture. As we expanded our design offerings, more and more wholesale accounts came on board. That momentum is what truly propelled our growth.
By the 1990s, we were selling fun and humorous t-shirts to the “average Joe Blow,” from our hometown in Annapolis to the boardwalks of Ocean City, Maryland. Trade shows helped us build a national footprint, bringing in customers ranging from Disney and Cracker Barrel to museums, souvenir and gift shops, catalogs, and online retailers.
In time, we expanded into licensed merchandise, adding General Motors and Ford to our portfolio. These partnerships allowed us to evolve artistically, creating designs that feature multiple vehicles and scenes, often traditional and classic, occasionally edgy and bold.
Today, we are proud to hold licenses with the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines! They are also a cornerstone of our business that continues to fuel growth.
